Who We Are

It all started with two sisters and their grandmother's wisdom. When Tracy and Louisa moved to the United States, they didn't turn to pharmacies when illness struck – instead, they called their grandmother. Days later, packages would arrive filled with carefully selected herbs and handwritten brewing instructions. Their apartment would fill with unique aromas as they boiled these traditional remedies, often to the curiosity of roommates who soon noticed how quickly the sisters recovered from seasonal ailments that lingered among their friends.

These weren't random plants or new-age experiments, but precisely formulated recipes refined over centuries in China, passed down through generations. Through homesickness to life's inevitable challenges, these teas provided both healing and connection to their heritage. During a simple meal together, as they sipped yet another cup of their grandmother's healing tea, they realized they were guardians of something precious that shouldn't be kept to themselves. With their grandmother's blessing, they founded Tea Facto to share these authentic remedies exactly as she would prepare them – no shortcuts, no compromises, just centuries of wisdom in every cup.
